Misioneros Del Camino is a charitable, nonprofit organization incorporated in the state
of Florida, U.S.A. in 1986 and in Guatemala under Government Agreement #1088.
It has a federal tax exemption in both countries. Since Misioneros Del Camino is a 501
(c)(3) tax-exempt organization, contributions are tax-deductible.
Misioneros is financed by private donations primarily from the Latin community of South
Florida. The financial contributions are essential to enable Misioneros Del Camino to
operate day-to-day as well as to finance future expansion.
Unlike other organizations of its type, Misioneros Del Camino does not request
volunteers. The organization runs with a lean and largely volunteer staff to ensure that
revenue collected through donations reaches the children directly in the form of food,
medical supplies, school supplies, clothing and construction and maintenance of educational,
housing and medical structures. Misioneros Del Camino management receives no compensation.
